OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
İLKALEM A.Ş. considers human beings as its most valuable asset in all its activities, and adopts minimizing and continuously improving all kinds of losses that may occur by creating a safer and healthier working environment as its primary business goal. In this direction;
• To take the necessary precautions by conducting risk analyzes according to the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 and the relevant provisions specified in the regulations issued on the basis of this law, and to create emergency action plans,
• Identify and ensure the implementation of protection parameters by reducing health and safety risks,
• To minimize the risk of accidents caused by the technology or material used,
• To ensure the storage and use of flammable chemicals and other chemicals in the facility under appropriate storage conditions,
• To ensure the use and protection of all fire equipment in the facility in accordance with the relevant standards,
• To have periodic controls of all equipment related to the field of activity regularly carried out by authorized institutions, and to make the report positive if there are negative issues in the reports,
• Provide personal protective equipment to all employees for use as a precaution,
• Provide information to all employees about the precautions to be taken in case of exposure to chemicals and accidents, as well as what to do in case of spills or splashes,

• Eliminating or minimizing the damage that these impacts will cause to the environment,
• To ensure continuity by meeting customer demands at the highest level in line with national and international standards and in accordance with legal regulations,
• To use natural resources efficiently by protecting the environment and to keep the wastes generated as a result of the activities carried out under control,
• To develop environmentally friendly products by raising environmental awareness among our employees, customers, suppliers and other related parties,
• To ensure savings by minimizing the consumption of energy and other natural resources,
• To comply with TS EN ISO 14001:2015 environmental management system requirements and to ensure its sustainability by continuously improving its effectiveness.
INFORMATION SECURITY POLICY
Our Information Security Management System guarantees that our activities within its scope are carried out in accordance with the ISO 27001:2022 standard.
Our Information Security Management System Policy;
• To manage the Information Security Management System according to TS/ISO 27001:2022,
• In order to protect our information assets, to control the activities of storing, transmitting, changing, accessing and processing assets based on the best available practices, and to ensure that in-process controls are established with the principle of separation of duties,
• Protect the availability, integrity and confidentiality of information,
• Implement physical security controls for assets stored in secure areas,
• To evaluate and manage the risks that may occur on information assets,
• To protect the reliability and reputation of our company,
• To apply the sanctions deemed necessary in case of breach of information security,
• Ensuring that the necessary administrative structure, resources and infrastructure are established in order to report violations of information security and to take actions as soon as possible,
• To ensure the information security requirements arising from national and international regulations, fulfilling the requirements of legal and relevant legislation, meeting the obligations arising from agreements, and corporate responsibilities towards internal and external stakeholders,
• To reduce the impact of information security threats on business / service continuity, to ensure business continuity and sustainability,
• To conduct audits to monitor compliance with the Information Security Management System and continuous improvement and to take their results into account in management review meetings,

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY POLICY
As İLKALEM TİCARET VE SANAYİ A.Ş., acting with the awareness of social responsibility in all our business processes and relationships is one of the basic and unchanging elements of our management approach. Our social responsibility policy includes the standards that we have established with all our business partners based on our basic principles and values and carried out as teamwork. Our goal is to ensure that İLKALEM A.Ş.'s Social Responsibility Policy becomes a corporate culture. With this policy, we are committed to fulfill all our responsibilities and we share our commitments with our employees, stakeholders and business partners.
Compliance with Laws and Other Obligations: The company adheres to applicable laws and regulations and follows the rules of business partnerships with customers as well as the rules of international social responsibility organizations.
Transparency and Traceability in the Management System: Our company implements policies, procedures and instructions for its customers and all parties for which it is responsible to cooperate in a transparent environment and expects full compliance with this system. Through these policies, it implements a system that prevents corruption and bribery in all its activities. Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, minimum industry standards and all other important legal requirements is ensured. No corruption, fraud or embezzlement offenses, including, but not limited to, any form of bribery, shall be involved. Personal information about employees is not shared with third parties without the consent and knowledge of the employee, except for legal obligation. Full compliance with confidentiality and information security laws and regulatory requirements is ensured in the collection, use and other processing of personal data.
Engagement with Society and Stakeholders: Our company is committed to establishing ties with its stakeholders on the basis of goodwill by listening to their views, obtaining information from their views and taking their views into consideration. In this context, it determines employee representatives in accordance with the legal legislation, creates an environment where employees can discuss their problems with the representatives and allows them to submit their suggestions in writing to the suggestion boxes. Commit to engage in a dialog with stakeholders on workplace rights issues related to the workplace and within its sphere of influence, where appropriate.
Child Labor: For the healthy development of children and out of respect for the right to education, no employee under the age of 18 shall be employed, and the procedures and principles for employing young workers shall be followed.
Human Trafficking: Our company cannot employ illegal workers. If an employee quits his/her job, the company cannot prevent or postpone it, except for any security reasons. All kinds of information of our employees are protected and kept confidential to the extent specified by law.
Discrimination: Discrimination against employees in any form is prohibited. On the basis that all employees have equal rights, there is no discrimination in hiring, remuneration, compensation, access to training, promotion, termination or retirement, etc., or discrimination based on race, social class, religion, marital status, national origin, gender or political views.
Recruitment: In order to ensure the continuity of the company's ethical criteria, compliance with company rules and the company's social compliance conditions is considered as a necessary and important criterion in recruitment, as well as the technical and professional knowledge of the personnel selection. The only criterion for recruitment and employment is suitability for the job. Equality of opportunity is provided without discrimination. Discrimination and harassment-abusive treatment are prevented starting from the recruitment stage.
Labor Contract (Employer Contracts): An “Indefinite Term Employment Contract” is signed between İlkalem A.Ş. and the person to be employed, which includes the conditions offered to the candidate personnel in accordance with the workplace and laws. All these rules and regulations are transferred to the relevant personnel through orientation training.
Employment of Foreign Nationals (Employment of Foreign Workers): In the case of employing foreign nationals, employment contracts are drawn up in the language they understand. All personnel transactions from recruitment to termination of employment are carried out in accordance with the legal regulations in force. The legal rights of foreign workers are protected by the Company.
Working Hours: Working hours and overtime periods comply with applicable laws and regulations. Our employees cannot be deprived of rest and vacation days within the framework of their legal rights.
Wages and Payments: Based on the minimum wage as the minimum wage that employees can meet their living expenses; no wages below the minimum wage are paid, overtime wages are paid by making additions as stipulated by law.
Right to Report Wishes & Complaints: We have adopted the principle of listening to all complaints of all our employees and finding solutions to them. An open door communication policy is applied. Employees are free to report their requests and complaints through Wish & Complaint boxes. The opinions and suggestions of the employees are evaluated, responded and measures are taken to increase motivation.
Contact: With the belief that success depends on healthy communication, activities are implemented to keep the connections between employees and managers alive, to create good relations between employees and managers and to ensure the continuity of these relations.
Prevention of Harassment and Maltreatment: Measures are taken to ensure that there is no verbal, physical, psychological harassment or coercion in order to ensure the peace of the working environment and to ensure that employees work happily.
Forced and Compulsory Labor: There shall be no forced involuntary labor or work in return for debt, which is contractually binding. It is ensured that work is voluntary.
Raising Employee Awareness: Believing that the basis of social compliance is conscious employees, it is aimed to increase the level of awareness of employees by informing them about their personal rights, company rules, working conditions at the recruitment stage and at certain periods during their employment, to provide equal opportunities for training, guidance and development of employees, to increase the loyalty of employees to the company by providing equal opportunities for promotion and rewarding.
Supplier Management: With the belief that all suppliers are equally responsible; planning is made to evaluate the social compliance activities of supplier companies. The results obtained are used to improve the activities.
Occupational Health and Safety: Employees are provided with clean, healthy and safe working conditions. In all activities, the primary goal is to consider people as the most valuable asset and to minimize any loss that may occur by creating a safer and healthier working environment. Trainings are organized to ensure that all employees are aware of their individual responsibilities on the subject, and necessary equipment is provided in terms of Occupational Health and Safety. Local laws, regulations and requirements regarding Occupational Health and Safety are complied with. Risks related to occupational health and safety hazards are identified and kept under control by reducing these risks to acceptable levels.
Worker Discipline: Our company applies disciplinary rules determined by the disciplinary board in order to ensure disciplined work. The Company may not impose wage deduction sanctions in any way to discipline its employees.
Environmental Protection: We aim to ensure the safety of life, property and the environment by minimizing the risks that all parties affected by our activities may be exposed to; to meet and improve legal requirements and to raise the level of awareness on this issue. In all our activities, improvement and development activities are implemented to minimize environmental impacts and to use natural resources effectively and efficiently. As an organization that attaches importance to the environment with the awareness of its social responsibilities, it is ensured that the necessary measures are taken to minimize our negative impacts on the environment during all our activities.
